School Regulations

The School has a well stocked library. Students are advised to make full use of it to develop a healthy habit of reading. The following rules are to be observed :

  • Students can borrow one book at a time from the library for their general study.
  • The maximum number of days for which books can be borrowed is fifteen days
  • Fines may be levied on students on late return of books.
  • Newspaper, magazines, pamphlets must be handled with care. If any student is found removing any article, picture etc. from any magazine or newspaper, disciplinary action would be taken against the student and he/she would be responsible for replacing the books.


School Rules

Students of Army Public School, Narangi must adhere to the following rules and set a good example of their conduct and behaviour.

  • 100% attendance is mandatory for appearing in the School Exam/Board Exam.
  • Attendance of Morning Assembly is compulsory. Disciplinary action will be taken against defaulters.
  • Those who come late to the school or remain absent must bring leave note from the parents giving reasons for coming late or being absent.
  • Those who come by school buses or under their own arrangements, must promptly leave their bags etc. in their respective class rooms and report for the Assembly.
  • Proper decorum should be maintained in the school buses as well as during morning assemblies
  • Students must wear clean and neat uniform as per the approved pattern. No relaxation is acceptable is this regard.
  • Due care must be taken of the school property by all students. They are not allowed to scratch or spoil the charts and educational material displayed in the corridor/classrooms. They will not damage the school furniture and the smart boards.
  • Waste paper and waste material must be disposed in the waste paper bins, kept for this purpose.
  • Students must be courteous and gentle in manner. They should pay respect to all teachers and elders.
  • Students are not allowed to wear jewellery or make up.
  • Students are not to bring money or other valuable items to school. The school will not be responsible for loss of personal items.
  • Use of mobile phone in school is strictly prohibited and is liable to be confiscated and destroyed if found.
  • Chewing gums, pan-masala, smoking, inhaling (glue) dendrite, whitener (erazex) and spitting on walls are strictly prohibited inside the school campus.
  • Lines should be orderly while changing classes and at dispersal.
  • A sense of fellow feeling is expected between all members of school community.
  • Carrying any material which may be classified as obscene is strictly prohibited.
  • A school counsellor can be approached for any problem faced by the students.
  • Fines will be imposed on students violating school rules :
    Late coming Rs. 500, Truancy Rs. 500, Any student involved in Bullying will be punished by law, Wilful damage to school property Rs. 1,000
  • Cycles must be kept in the cycle stand under lock and key. Motor cycles are prohibited.
  • Books (other than text books/reference books of library and magazines) brought to school without permission will be confiscated.
  • Parents and guardians are requested not to visit their wards or teachers in the classrooms without the permission of the Principal.
  • During school timings students should not leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal.
  • Use of language other than English is prohibited.
  • The school must be notified of any change of address, telephone number or the details of emergency contacts as soon as possible in writing.
  • A student returning to school, after suffering from infection or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s certificate, permitting him/her to do so.Students suffering from the following diseases must observe prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class.
    Chicken Pox 3 weeks, Measles 2 weeks, Mumps 2 weeks, Jaundice 3 weeks
  • Students should switch off the lights and fans before leaving their classrooms.
